I'm currently spearheading a student onboarding project as part of my internship responsibilities. This project is entirely my own, granting me the freedom to chart its course. Starting from scratch is invigorating, and I'm eager to witness the tangible results of my efforts unfold.

As part of the KTB team, I assist in making phone calls to donors, ensuring that we gather comprehensive information about each individual.
Minority Recruitment
Komen Tissue Bank
In minority recruitment efforts, I actively engage with organizations across our campus and neighboring schools to connect with potential donors and volunteers. Our focus is particularly on minorities, as we've observed lower representation among both women and men. The scientists handling tissue samples aspire to develop cures benefiting all individuals, yet insufficient knowledge exists regarding minority populations.
